HTTPS and the padlock

New idea

Who can read your packets?

Your packets don't fly straight to the website. They pass through many routers, and your Wi-Fi, along the way. With plain HTTP, the message is sent as readable text, so any machine on the path could peek at it, or even change it.

That would be bad for passwords, messages and bank details. It is like sending a postcard instead of a sealed letter.
