About us

The short version

Bugsy is a free, game-like place to learn how computers really work (the why behind the tech, not just the commands). Short lessons, in English and Arabic.

Our mission

Most tutorials tell you what to type. We want you to understand why it works. Bugsy teaches the fundamentals of computing (how computers store and move information, how programs think, how the web fits together), one small idea at a time.

Every lesson is short, interactive and built like a game: you flip bits, sort things into order and answer quick questions, and you earn XP and streaks along the way. Everything is free, and every lesson is available in both English and Arabic.

Who runs it

Bugsy is made and run by Mohamed Raslan. It is an independent project, not a company or a school. If you spot a mistake or have an idea, we would love to hear from you on the contact page.

How lessons are made

  • Each lesson starts from one question a curious person might ask, like "what is a bit?".
  • We explain the idea in plain words first, then let you try it with a small game.
  • Every lesson is written in English and Arabic side by side, checked so both versions teach exactly the same thing.
  • Lessons are reviewed and improved over time. If something is unclear, tell us and we will fix it.
