Lists

New idea

30 scores, 30 boxes?

Your game has 30 players. With what you know so far, you would need 30 variables, score1 to score30, and a loop could never walk through them. There is a better way.

A list is one name that holds many values in order. You write it in square brackets, with commas between the items: levels = ["cave", "forest", "castle"].

Each item has a position number called its index, and you read an item by putting its index in brackets: levels[1]. The first index is 0, not 1, because the index means how many steps from the start. The first item is 0 steps away.
